19 january 2017
The laboratories at the Sheremetyevo fuelling facility and Rosneft Aero’s branch in Artem were among the first in Russia to receive certificates of compliance with ISO/MEK 17025:2005. Experts praised the professional qualities of the personnel, world-class service involving quality analysis of aviation fuel, oils, lubricants, and special fluids, as well as the reliability of tests and results.
The certificates mean recognition at the national and international level which makes the laboratories far more competitive. Laboratory audit was conducted by independent experts of the Association of Analytical Centres (“Analitika”) which is a member of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and the Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC).
Rosneft Aero, a subsidiary of Rosneft Oil Company, is conducting certification of its laboratories as part of its fuel quality assurance program. The company is continuously working to improve its operations in accordance with the requirements of international standards. Currently all the laboratories at key Rosneft Aero fuelling facilities are on track to complete the audit.
